Alexis Mac Allister Fires Brighton to Famous Anfield Victory
Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister has continued his impressive form by scoring a stunning goal to beat Liverpool at Anfield.
The Argentine midfielder, who has now scored in each of Brighton's last three games, received the ball from Marc Cucurella on the edge of the area, turned inside Joe Gomez, and curled a beautiful shot into the top corner.
Liverpool had taken the lead through Mohamed Salah's penalty in the first half, but Brighton never looked troubled and deservedly leveled through Leandro Trossard's fine finish before Mac Allister's winner.
The victory is a famous one for Brighton, who have now won at Anfield for the first time since 1982, and it moves them up to fourth in the Premier League table.
